To what extent did Assuring Your Comfort meet your Home Inspection expectations?
As a first time home buyer, I wasn't sure what to expect with the Home Inspection. Assuring Your Comfort exceeded expectations by providing an incredibly educational and informative walk-thru and report. I feel better prepared and more informed on the home I'm buying because of Rod's attention to detail.
To what extent did your inspector find deficiencies and was able to explain them in easy to understand language?
Rod was thorough in everything he did including his explanations - pointing out issues and areas of concern. He is incredibly knowledgeable and went above and beyond to provide information and recommendations to maintain my new home while ensuring that I understood everything.
Would you recommend Assuring Your Comfort to other home buyers? Why or why not?
I would recommend Assuring Your Comfort to others looking for a thorough and informative home inspection! Rod's attention to detail really stood out in both the walk-thru and report. He was great to work with - very professional and genuinely concerned with providing top notch service for the inspection of my new home.
What recommendations for improvement do you have for your inspector?
None! I was slightly dreading the inspection but it was a great experience all thanks to Rod!

Rod was great! I highly recommend him! He was very detailed about his home inspection. Not only did he point out what were the hazards or safety features that needs to be addressed immediately, he educated me and my dad about how to move forward with the fixes so that I can save cost in the long run. His explanation of how water damage can occur was very simple to understand and gave me multiple ways on what I can do to keep the house away from water damage. He was very honest about the electrical system and made me aware of the dangerous hazards that came with it. His description of the locations of the damages were very clear and concise. He will tell you REAL facts about the house and keep it very real with you. If you're looking for a home inspector that will dissect your house and fully prepared a full analysis of your future home, then Rod is your guy!

We recently used Assuring Your Comfort on the home inspection for a house we were in the process of buying. Rod was fantastic to work with. He thoroughly went over the house, looking at things we never would have thought to check ourselves. When we met with him after the inspection, he took us around the house to point out any deficiencies he saw, explained what each deficiency was in layman’s terms, and offered his opinion on the severity of the deficiency.
This was super helpful to us as we were able to decide which issues to ask the sellers to attend to and which we could deal with down the line. Buying a home is a stressful life event and working with Assuring Your Comfort for the home inspection helped us feel more confident in our home buying decision.
